 Are you a Rockin' Rescuer?

Dear Companion Animal Consultancy is wild about animal rescuers!

We're offering the Rockin' Rescuer Award so you can learn how to communicate with animals. This is a full Talking With Animals workshop registration.

How to Apply

Submit an essay describing your rescue work. 500 words or less. We're looking for sincerity and effectiveness as a rescuer, not professional writing. Write from your heart.

You may be a shelter volunteer, a wildlife rehabber, or someone who quietly takes in strays and finds them good forever homes. You can't imagine not acting in the face of animal suffering, and you wish you could hear their voices.

You must also say why you need financial assistance (this won't be published).

Essay must be accompanied by two references from people familiar with your rescue work and who know your circumstances, e.g., fellow volunteers, supervisors, animal health professionals, people you've helped rehome or adopt.

Noon PST, Wednesday, September 12th

-Are 18 or over

-Are actively involved in rescue on a volunteer basis

-Can make the full day workshop in West Vancouver BC, September 22nd, 2012

-Would not otherwise be able to afford workshop registration

-Have never been charged with nor convicted of animal cruelty, even if pardoned.   _______________________________________________________
